About My Work
Natalie Benton is a visual development artist and illustrator based in Phoenix, Arizona. She recently graduated Cum Laude with her BFA in Studio Art emphasizing in Illustration, Design and Animation from the University of Arizona.
Natalie is seeking work and is open to relocation in the Greater LA area, New York, and Boston areas as an intern or junior Visual Development artist and/or Illustrator.
Natalie’s work has been featured in multiple exhibitions on and off campus throughout her undergraduate career. She was 1 of 50 illustration finalists in Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XIV Online Fan Fest Art Contest in July 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is the President of the Arizona Esports club on campus, as well as being a 2023 Gen.G Foundation Scholar. Her illustration, “Anhydrous” was published in Harmony Magazine in March 2025.
Outside of her work, she is interested in watching live musical theatre, watching movies at local theatres, and playing pickleball with her mother and friends. Whatever new activity she decides to try, she dives in headfirst with maximum effort. She can also shred on the melodica!
Natalie is technically skilled in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. This includes such programs as Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects. She also has experience with Zbrush, Autodesk Maya and Substance Painter.
